Scholarship Application

The Livonia First Responder Foundation is offering scholarships for dependents of Livonia’s first responders. Eligible applicants include high school seniors graduating this spring or students currently enrolled in college, university, or trade school who are dependents of active, sworn members of the Livonia Police Department, Livonia Fire & Rescue, Dispatchers, Police Service Aides, and Paramedic Cadets.

Up to six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, ideally split between Police and Fire. Preference is given to those pursuing public safety education or with experience in public safety service.

Applicants must submit a completed application and a 500-word essay. Previous recipients should update the committee on their achievements. A committee of LFRF board members will review applications, with awards based on merit—not financial need or residency.
